Fashion design is both an art and a science, yet sizing and fit have been a guessing game for a long time. Our research focuses on developing AI-powered tools that assist fashion designers by turning massive amounts of data into clear, useful insights.

With Large Language Models (LLMs) we are building an AI assistant that can:

• Analyze historic product data and customer feedback to spot potential fit issues before production.

• Give insights on market trends, materials, and pattern adjustments to fine-tune designs.

• Offer easy-to-understand, data-driven recommendations so designers can stay creative while making informed decisions.

Backed by the EU: Driving innovation forward

This project is supported by the Pro FIT program, with funding from IBB and co-financing from the European Union. This allows us to push AI innovation in fashion and ensure our research turns into real-world solutions for brands and customers.

The goal: Better fit, fewer returns, smarter production

A major challenge in fashion is high return rates, often due to poor fit. With this project, SAIZ aims to:

• Lower returns by giving designers predictive fit insights, so sizing is right from the start.

• Improve sustainability by reducing overproduction and waste.

• Empower designers with AI tools that make decision-making faster and more precise, without limiting creativity.
